3-D Ultrasound
We decided to do a 3-D ultrasound - I'm getting a little impatient to see what this little guy looks like!
It was a fun experience, but the little man was really not cooperative. The ultrasound technician even said we have a troublemaker on our hands.
He was positioned bottom-down, with his hands AND HIS FEET over his head. Essentially, a perfect pike position. At one point it looked like he was staring at his knee, and at another, it looked like he was sticking his toes in his eye (see above).
I know these photos are strange and somewhat difficult to see, but here are the explanations:
1) This is the best face-on shot we got. He definitely has Josh's mouth, and is that a dimple in his left cheek? Please note hands and feet above head. I have no idea how he is doing that.
2) Big yawn... his mouth is wide open!
3) Here's the one where it looks like he's poking his eye with his toe. Ouch.
4) Little foot!
5) Scratching his head - is he a thinker? Or just frustrated with his parents already?
We're going back in two weeks to see if we can get any better pictures. We tried everything to get him to move his hands and/or feet - movement, water, sugar, poking him... nothing worked. And as soon as we left the office, he gave me some BIG kicks that indicated he'd moved at least his feet. Trouble already, I'm telling you...
