Will meets Santa

We took Will to meet Santa this week. We weren't sure how he was going to react, but he didn't seem to even notice Santa. I think he thought the big bearded thing he was sitting on was just part of the chair.
Then again, Santa looked like he'd taken a few Valium (not that I blame him...), so he kind of was just part of the chair. Not so engaging.

Oh well, it was a nice photo op. Will told Santa that all he wants for Christmas are his two front teeth. Or his two lower teeth. Or any teeth.

Mommy Time

More New Tricks Part Two

He loves to play with his blocks!

More New Tricks

Will has been pushing himself up onto all fours for about a month now. He pushes up, and rocks back and forth furiously occasionally hopping forward a little. Unfortunately, he mostly ends up going backwards, which can be very frustrating for him

He has figured out that if he's wearing fleecy jammies, he can scooch great distances by pushing himself backwards and sliding along the floor. He surprised me by showing up in the laundry room the other day. He looks backwards over his shoulder to see where he's going.

We expect a full-on crawl any day now.

New Trick

Will can stand up on his own holding on to something. His favorite place to do it is in his crib. He looks so proud of himself! It's a matter of days before he can pull himself up - scary!!

Will in Arizona

We traveled to Prescott, Arizona for Thanksgiving with Will's Grandma and Grandpa Price. He had a fabulous time.

Will in Action

Here are some action shots - Will in the high chair (apparently explaining something to us), and will in the "Bouncy Bounce" (aka jumperoo), which he loves. He gets in there and just siiiiiinngggs while he's jumping. It's adorable.

Peas

Here's the face we got when we tried peas. Now he starts crying if he even smells them.

Veggies!

We finally started giving Will some veggies and fruits when he turned six months old. Some he loves (sweet potatoes, carrots, pears, apples), some not so much (peas. yuck.).

Here are some photos of his first experience with carrots. He didn't make any really great faces, but he was definitely skeptical.

Why you never leave your camera out when...

...my sisters are around. These are the kinds of photos you find.
These are the same girls who texted me, "Will loves wasabi peas!" while I was gone. WHAT??!!

Will in Florida

We went to Florida in November - I had to go for work, so we all went a few days early to spend some time with Will's Nana and [Insert what he's going to call my dad here - we still haven't figured it out].

Will swam in the pool and LOVED it. He also met his Great Uncle John.

Will's Aunts came down to help take care of him. We left him for three days, and he did great! He even slept through the night consistently for the first time.
