POP!

Something has changed in the last week. Suddenly, I'm no longer getting comments like, "Wow, you don't look very big for six months." Instead, it's more like, "Wow, you really look pregnant now!"

The little man must have gone through a growth spurt, because I am now a whole lotta belly. My belly button is even flattening out (I will not subject you to photos of that).

So Happy Third Trimester!

Big Ultrasound Photos - Part 3

And finally, the ultra-creepy 3-D ultrasound picture. This is his face, again his hands are up by his head. It's a little distorted, and he looks skinny because at this age they don't have much fat. I'm trying to chub him up a little. :)

Big Ultrasound Photos - Part 2

Here's the face-on shot. Head on the left, belly on the right. He has his hands up by his head, which he seems to do often. Maybe he's a boxer (the athlete, not the dog...).

Here's the evidence - the arrow is pointing to that thing that makes him a boy. Again, please at least blush appropriately for the poor guy as we invade his privacy. He thinks he's all secure in the dark in there, but little does he know we're peeking.

Too cute not to post...

Here is Josh and Patti, his mom, the grandmother to be...

Some photos from our trip to Prescott, AZ for New Year's. I think I'll keep taking all of my belly pics while wearing black - it's very deceptively slimming.

It's a....

BOY!

We found out on December 20th at the "Big" Ultrasound. It was immediately apparent to the doctor that we have a little boy coming sometime in May. I will post the evidence (poor guy - I do feel a little bit like we're invading his privacy by posting photos with arrows pointing at his boyness...) when I figure out why I didn't scan them correctly.

Needless to say, we are thrilled. Let me rephrase. Josh is thrilled. I'm thrilled and also slightly terrified. Keep in mind I have two sisters and went to an all-girls' school for 12 years. In reality, I have no idea what to do with a boy, but everyone tells me I'll figure it out.

So why is it that the first piece of advice I ALWAYS get when I tell people we're having a boy is, "Make sure you keep it covered at all times when you change his diaper!"??

Now we can narrow down the name search. So far, we have Fisher and Vincent as the top contenders. :) We'll announce (and most likely decide) the real name once we meet him in person.
